After working with Julie for a few months with nutrition counseling, I found so many positive things start to fall into place – I felt strong and healthy physically, I was thinking positively about my body, my clothes fit great and best of all, through creating new habits that Julie teaches, I had learned to maintain a balance with my diet – do it right 80% of the time, but still allow the room for small indulgences, without the guilt.
I started nutrition with Villains (Julie) because I had a very unhealthy relationship with myself. I was unhappy with my physical appearance and couldn’t get my head into the right space nutritionally. Julie not only works with you on your nutritional needs/goals but she is also very good at helping you work through those pesky thoughts/feelings in your head that really impact your ability to move forward. After only a couple of months I have changed most of my unhealthy thoughts about myself which has helped me understand what a healthy balanced nutritional lifestyle looks like for me.
I was paired with Julie initially for the first 6 weeks and found amazing support not just with nutrition but my life circumstances and challenges. After the six weeks I continued on with her and survived COIVD (so far) with not gaining weight but gaining a huge amount of confidence in myself and my eating and lifestyle. I have been able to plan, follow through and make some life changes that I don’t think I would have considered without her gentle nudges and check ins. You sign up for nutrition coaching but it’s all the other stuff that you gain with it that really make it all possible and fall into place.
